Public Trainings - Permit-Required Confined Space Entry Supervisor

Course Description –

This training class provides participants with the knowledge and skills to enable them to perform and/or supervise safe entries into permit-required confined spaces following all OSHA Requirements. The goal of confined space safety training is to educate all entry supervisors on best practices for working and supervising employee entry into confined spaces so that they’re able to reduce the likelihood of any injuries or fatalities.
Classes include videos, lectures, facilitated student discussions, demonstrations, skill testing, and written testing. The curriculum includes an entry supervisor’s responsibilities, rules, and skill demonstrations that comply with the OSHA definitions of a confined space entry supervisor
Must have completed the 8-hour Permit Required Confined Space Entrant and Attendant class prior to attending this training.

Who Should Attend?

The Permit-Required Confined Space Entry Supervisor course is designed for those individuals who will or are currently fulfilling roles as supervisors, team leaders, managers, or any supervisory role where entry into confined spaces is required in either a Construction (OSHA 1926) or General Industry (OSHA 1910) environment. This course will also provide excellent benefits to any individual who will soon be promoted or is currently supervising employees conducting entries into permit-required confined spaces.

CEU’s –

Participants will receive a course completion certificate and earn .6 Continuing Education Units from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DS/DW/WW02099002) upon successful completion of the course.
