2022 Professional Development Courses
All Courses will take place Wednesday, March 30.
Incident Investigation: Root Cause Analysis ($255) | 8am – 5pm
This course focuses on techniques for gathering complete, accurate and objective incident data, establishing root causes, reporting findings and determining corrective action. Discussion, demonstrations and exercises cover investigation and interview techniques. Participants learn how to uncover the who, what, why, when and how of each incident, and how to analyze data to prevent injuries, property damage and financial losses.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a course completion certificate. Each student will also earn .65 CEU’s.
OSHA Focus Four ($125) | 1pm – 5pm
A group of hazards are so dangerous that they have earned special attention from OSHA. This group of hazards are called the “Focus Four” and include Falls, Caught in-between, Electrocutions, and Struck by. These hazards collectively account for the primary causes of fatalities on construction sites. This course will focus on eliminating these accidents in the workplace which would save 500 lives per year, according to OSHA.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a course completion certificate. Each student will also earn .4 CEU’s.
