Aaron Kinnon
Aaron Kinnon serves as the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations for the Florida Chamber of Commerce and Florida Chamber Foundation. In this role, Aaron leads the investor relations and membership teams for the Enterprise, delivering premium engagement opportunities for members investing in securing Florida’s future as we work to lead Florida to a diverse, competitive, and sustainable economy. The most important aspect of the Florida Chamber’s work is in unifying its members and amplifying their voice, involvement, and engagement in our mission, and Aaron is focused on building personal relationships with Florida business leaders to align the right people and businesses within our Six Pillars framework and 39 goals of the Florida 2030 Blueprint.
After serving six years in the U.S. Navy, Aaron began his philanthropic/development career in 1996. He moved to Florida in 2003 taking a position at the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Foundation where he served 15 years in various roles – primarily as the Development Director. Aaron joined the Florida Chamber of Commerce team in July 2018 as the Foundation Director of Investor Relations and the Community Development Partnership Director. Over the three years in that role, Aaron initiated and cultivated relationships with business and community leaders across Florida. His collaborative efforts with Florida Chamber members, volunteer leaders and Florida Chamber colleagues grew both the Foundation’s Community Development Partnership Council and Board of Trustees with visionary leaders who put the long-term ahead of the short-term to secure Florida’s future. His leadership also grew Florida Chamber Foundation Solution Summit sponsorships to the highest levels ever as business leaders saw the value of investing in the Florida Chamber’s work to unite business for good, to build up the next generation of Florida’s workforce and provide an opportunity for all Floridians to prosper.
It was the Florida Chamber Foundation’s mission-based work to unify businesses across Florida for a larger purpose that originally attracted Aaron to the Florida Chamber Foundation, and in 2021 he was promoted to his current role as vice president of investor relations. Keeping Florida, Florida takes tools and resources, and Aaron is focused on guiding the investor relations team to engage with members to amplify their voice to advance our mission.
Aaron, his wife Beth and their four children reside in Tallahassee, and he looks forward to securing Florida’s future for generations to come.
